History with Doehring, Winders & Co. LLP:
Matt originally joined Doehring, Winders & Co. in July 2006, after
beginning his public accounting career in January 2001 with a large independent
CPA firm in the Chicago area. In 2009,
he worked in industry as Operations Director for a regional retail music
company. He rejoined the firm in 2011. Matt became a partner in July 2014.
Education:
Matt earned his B.S. in Accountancy from Illinois State University in
2001. He graduated Summa Cum Laude.
Experience:
Matt has over 15 years of accounting, auditing, financial, and operational
experience drawing from his years in public accounting and in private
business. He began his public accounting
career in the Chicago area with Miller, Cooper & Co., Ltd. from January
2001 to June 2006 before joining Doehring, Winders & Co. LLP in
2006.

Matt is an active member of the Presbyterian Church in Effingham, where he

board member of Effingham County Chamber of Commerce, treasurer and board
member of Effingham FCA, and board member of Effingham County Council on
Aging.
Other:
Matt and his wife, Amber, reside in Effingham, Illinois, with their two
daughters. Matt enjoys playing guitar,
watching football, reading, and spending time with family.
