History with Doehring, Winders & Co. LLP:
Eric joined the Firm in January 2016
upon the merger with Hanks & Willenborg. He joined Hanks & Willenborg in
1996, becoming a partner in January of 2006.
Education:
Eric earned his B.S. in Business
(major in Accounting) in 1994 from Eastern Illinois University.
Experience:
Eric serves many clients across
several industries including retail, agriculture and construction, and
concentrates in the areas of individual, business tax planning and
preparation, and trust tax preparation.
Professional Activities:
Eric is a member of the American
Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He also is a member of the Illinois
CPA Society and is a licensed CPA in Illinois.
Civic Activities:
Eric is a board member and past treasurer of the Effingham Flame Softball
organization, member of St. John’s Lutheran Church of Effingham,
chairman of the board and past secretary of the Eagle’s Nest Preschool
of St. John’s Lutheran Church of Effingham.
Other:
Eric and his wife, Penny, have three children, Mikayla, Ashlyn, and
Aiden. He enjoys golf, softball
and attending his children’s sporting activities.
